About me.. Mark Borrow.
You have come to this page, so I guess you want to know more about me, well, here we go this is me then! I am 41 years old and currently live on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain, yes, I am British (for my sins) and am originally from South East England, Buckinghamshire, Aylesbury to be precise!
I spent a lot of my early days in the countryside, helping on farms, shooting, hunting and fishing, from the age of ten. I have tried my hand at many things, a little martial arts, cycling, 4x4 off roading, mechanics, welding, construction work and as a boy, even breeding Rabbits and Ferrets! Oh yes! I am still a country boy at heart!
It was, however, my interest in computers, technology and the internet, that eventualy became my "bread and butter"! My practical and logical approach to technology, lead me down many paths and eventually to the point where I was in demand from some pretty, large organisations.
I am still the kind of person who "takes life lightly", loves a party, a few drinks and a smoke! I hated the "rat-run" of British life, hence, why I have lived in Ireland for a while and now live in Spain full time. In my eyes, life is too short, so while making money and having security is important in many respects, you must find time to "live" too! Saying that, I have probably dedicated far too much time to technology and the Internet already, that's why, I am considered a Geek, but a down to earth one, of course !
I like to say, exactly what I think, which is not always, what people might like to hear, but then, I really don't see the point in "beating around the bush"! I guess the best description of me, (for those that have not seen the commercials), is like Marmite, you either love me, or you hate me, there appears to be "no middle ground"!... LOL
I became addicted to Technology and Electronics at a very young age, I always had that curiosity into how things work. Every Electronic gadget I got as a child, eventually got taken apart, in my quest to understand what made it work, even though, I often never remembered how to put it back together again, in those days!
I started my interest in the world of computers, way back in the day of the Sinclair ZX-80, however, it was not until the IBM Home PC's emerged on the market that, I was "hooked" and developed the urge to know, "everything". Eventually building my own systems plus, helping / supplying friends and small businesses with theirs.
Since that time, technology has played a big part in my life and I have had the pleasure in getting involved in specialist technologies and business installations. I am a not however a "super high earning" IT specialist, even if, my skills and knowledge often provail over those who are! I prefer to earn some money and enjoy it, rather that work my "socks off", without saving some time to live life a little too ! Not that I do not work hard and keep to those all important deadlines, I do, when it's necessary, of course!
I have run several businesses in my time, some successful and some not so, some related to technology and others had nothing to do with it at all. Versitility is something we should all have in life!.. Don't you agree?
So now, I am here on the Costa del Sol enjoying the Sunshine in Spain, playing my guitar, enjoying the, sun, the people plus, offering my knowledge and services to you, as and when you need them !
